This was the cartoon that kept us (my sister Loretta, my neighbour Noemi and myself) glued to our black and white boxy TV from 07:20 to 08:00 every night for most of 1990 or 1991.
We lived it with so much emotion and involvement, actually we were taking turns to be Sandy Bell. Each one of us had one week to show 'Sandy Bell Qualities'. It was our first encounter with 'real' cartoons (read not Russian Lolek and Bolek) and for sure left a mark on our childhood and what we took as values later on. Anybody else having similar memories?
Loved it!
i like more the cartoons from my days:d(no offence:d) (but one if my favorite is ofcourse tom and jery-all the teenagers love it)
ReplyDeleteYou gotta live it to like it! :) I guess everybody loved Tom and Jerry, but Sandy Bell was more like "finally no more russian cartoons" type of revelation! I will put one with T&J soon as well..
