SGN Airport Shopping

We have a pretty impressive number of airports that we've seen over the years. But this, ladies and gentlemen, is a new concept for us:

In SGN (Ho Chi Minh City Airport) Domestic Departures Hall, in front of Gate 5 there is an array of shops selling everything from fridge magnets, booze and cigarettes, biscuits and soda, shirts and plastic shoes to... FROZEN MEAT. 
That's right! You no longer need to go to the supermarket for your meat, you can just stock up right there in the airport. Never mind that a 2kg ball of frozen duck head might be an aviation hazard, at least by the time you get home you can pop it in a pot and get the dinner going! 
Take a good look at the bottom left side of the picture. The round thing: FROZEN SNAKE! 


"Welcome on board! Kindly place your frozen snake in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you for slower de-freezing! Have a pleasant flight!"
