Breaking the silence

It is excruciating doing something that you love and know that it is the last time you do it.

I had my last flight. Last time I wore the uniform, last PA, last briefing and last time I walk through the airport of Mrs Van CM. I love my job with passion, so this has been a very hard thing to do.

Our blogospheric absence in the past 2 months happened because we are relocating.

Mr. Van was offered a 3 year confirmed location. And when he asked what I thought about it, I listened to my intuition first and rational side later and I said YES honey, of course, let's move to

Vietnam...

So here we are. From the glitz and glamor of Abu Dhabi, we packed our stuff in a tiny 20ft container and we are ready to absorb the beauty of Ky Anh, Vietnam.

What does that mean?

We will finally be together, same country and under the same roof for more than 1 month at a time. We will eat dinner together every night. Only when I was away from Mr. Van I understood how important are these small details: sharing food, sharing our day's events, vent out the stress, hug…

Mr. Van will go to work while Mrs. Van is leaping into the unknown but exciting territory of finding something meaningful to invest her time in.
We will hear the noise of the beach and the sea instead of the overlooking busy intersection from our 20th floor apartment.
More frequent posting on the blog, more pictures and updates.

We will report every step of this amazing journey and we are waiting for you to visit us!
